The Woodman Inn

The Woodman Inn

Overview

The Woodman Inn at Thunder Bridge is a West Yorkshire country inn with a cosy restaurant and 19 individually styled bedrooms and suites. It offers a pub-and-countryside base near Kirkburton.

Eat

The Woodman’s own restaurant is on site, so guests can arrange a meal alongside their room booking. A legacy pairing to a restaurant called Catch in Holmfirth has not been confirmed under that identity and should not be treated as a bookable option. Check the Woodman’s menu and service days instead.

Catch at 38 Woodhead Road, Holmfirth appears to have changed hands; current operating identity must be verified before pairing.

Sleep

The individually styled bedrooms give this stay its character; room sizes and layouts vary within the property.

Retreat

Use the stay to explore the surrounding countryside and local villages, with time for a walk before dinner.
