The Red Lion is Peak Edge's 2 AA Rosette restaurant, combining the character of a historic Derbyshire inn with a more refined modern British dining style. Menus are shaped by the seasons and local landscape, with produce from trusted suppliers and the owners' nearby Walton Lodge Farm playing an important role.

The menu spans à la carte, fixed-price, brunch, afternoon tea and children's options rather than operating as an ultra-formal tasting room. Dinner is served Monday-Thursday 5.30pm-9pm, Friday-Saturday 5.30pm-9.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm-8.30pm.

The Red Lion is on site. The atmosphere is polished country dining rather than stiff fine dining, which makes it well suited to a walking-and-dinner Peak District break.
