Number One Bruton is a boutique hotel in a historic townhouse and former forge in the centre of Bruton, Somerset. Its rooms are individually laid out around the building’s architectural features.

Eat

Briar is the hotel’s own farm-to-table restaurant. The separate Gourmet Getaways pairing is with Osip, which the hotel identifies as an independent restaurant a few miles away. A stay at Number One Bruton and dinner at Osip must be booked separately; this is not an official hotel package.

Osip in Bruton serves a produce-led Somerset dining experience using ingredients grown by the restaurant or nearby producers, with eight-course tasting, five-course lunch and three-course evening formats.

The hotel says a farmhouse breakfast is included with its rooms.
