Bodysgallen combines National Trust country-house character with a genuine spa and two-AA-Rosette dining. It is a useful alternative for guests who want North Wales scenery and heritage but still want an indoor pool, treatments and a structured wellness element.

Bodysgallen's 2 AA Rosette Dining Room is led by Head Chef Abdalla El Shershaby. The cuisine is traditional modern British, with a strong estate-to-plate element: fruit, vegetables, herbs and other produce from Bodysgallen's own gardens appear throughout the menus alongside locally sourced ingredients.
Representative dishes have included confit Scottish salmon with citrus fennel and avocado, sea scallop with caramelised cauliflower, fillet of beef with estate artichokes and truffle sauce, and estate-grown beetroot preparations. A fine-dining Bill of Fare runs Wednesday-Sunday, with a simpler, less formal dinner menu on Monday and Tuesday.
Dinner is served Sunday-Thursday 6.30pm-8.30pm and Friday-Saturday 6.30pm-9pm. Dress is smart; trainers, tracksuits and shorts are not accepted. The restaurant is on site.
The hotel has around 31 rooms and suites across the main house and cottages, set within more than 200 acres. That mix allows guests to choose between the atmosphere of the historic house and more independent cottage-style accommodation.
The spa includes an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym and treatments. Recent guest feedback calls the spa relatively compact but consistently praises its cleanliness and treatments; the surrounding gardens and estate add a second, outdoor form of relaxation.
The hotel's setting in Llandudno makes it a natural base for the surrounding area as well as a place to stay for dinner. For a two-night break, allow time outside the dining room rather than treating the property as a one-evening stop.

It is designed for comparison and research and is not an official hotel package price. Because accommodation and menu prices can change, use the live price panel as the current indicative figure.

Google feedback is 4.5/5 from 373 reviews. Property, nature, service and wellness are recurring positives. A small number of reviews mention ageing room/bathroom details, useful context for guests who prefer contemporary design.
Bodysgallen Hall and Spa works best when the hotel, restaurant and setting are treated as one trip rather than three separate bookings. Choose the room and dinner first, then use the surrounding time to make the break feel like a proper retreat.
